'Happy New Year' gets 'U' certificate, team happy




 Farah Khan's multi-starrer directorial "Happy New Year" has been passed with a 'U' certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film releases Oct 24.

The team of the film, produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd, is excited with the news that will make it possible for audiences of all age groups to watch it at theaters.

"We, at Red Chillies Entertainments, have always believed in making a film which can be enjoyed by one and all. And with 'U' certificate attached to the film, it is only going to enhance the potential and appeal right from the kids to youngsters to adults," SRK said in a statement.

Pawan kalyan dontes 50laks to Hudhud effected people



Power Star Pawan Kalyan who will always be the front runner in donating money for a social cause has come up once again and announced money for the Hudhud cyclone relief. Earlier also he has donated several times for a social cause.

Pawan Kalyan donates 50 Lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund towards HudHud cyclone relief. Pawan Said, ” I am deeply anguished by the calamity that has swept through Vizag and North Andhra.

I will be handing 50 Lakhs to CM Relief Fund”. Pawan is going to visit Vizag very soon and appealed his fans and supporters to step out and participate in the relief operations. Pawan never tries to publicize his efforts for social causes. This is a good move from the industry people in supporting their best towards these natural disasters.

Puri’s son to star in Marathi remake Time Pass

- son of director Puri Jagannath will be starring in the Telugu remake of Marathi film 'Time Pass'. Raj Madiraju, who earlier made Aravind Krishna-starrer Rishi, would direct the remake.

Ramesh Prasad (son of legendary director LV Prasad and owner of Prasads multiplex/labs) is going to produce the film. The film will go on floors shortly and Aakash seems to be pretty excited about the prospect.

Leading lady of Ajay Devgn's directorial venture Shivaay

's next directorial venture is the hugely ambitious magnum opus Shivaay which is all set to release in January 2016. Devgn, who is also producing the film, wanted to keep his leading lady under wraps, and not reveal her identity till later, but despite valiant efforts to keep her hidden, the shutterbugs around the set managed to click the fresh debutante heroine while she was doing a photo shoot for the movie.

The lady in question is Sayesha, the grand-niece of Saira Banu and legendary actor Dilip Kumar, and the daughter of actress Shaheen (leading actress of the 90's). Sayesha has been cast as the leading lady opposite Ajay Devgn in his upcoming directorial venture Shivaay which will also see Devgn don the leading actors cap along with being the director and producer.

We hear that many actresses from B-Town were eyeing for this very role seeing the scale of the film, but after several round of auditions Sayesha was selected, and when she met Ajay Devgn, he zeroed down on her as she fitted the role perfectly.
