Today we are a free and democratic nation, but have we ever given a thought about who were the ‘Heroes’ who sacrificed their lives for this ‘free air’ that you and I breathe today? It was our great freedom fighters undying spirit, bravery and undaunted courage that freed ‘Bharat Mata’ from the clutches of the ‘British Raj’.

Here are some great personalities who led the freedom struggle and got this largest democracy independent on August 15, 1947.

London Olympics 2012 Wrestling: Can Sushil Kumar get India its sixth medal?

London: Wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt achieved his Olympic dream when he clinched the bronze medal at the London Olympics 2012.

His triumph gave India its fifth medal at the 2012 Games and a reason to celebrate after their men’s hockey team endured its worst ever show at the quadrennial event finishing last among the 12 participating teams.

London Olympics: All eyes set on ace wrestler Sushil Kumar 

  London: After Yogeshwar Dutt provided a late boost to India’s medal collection in the 30th  Olympics Games by claiming memorable bronze, India will now hope to add one more medal to its kitty on Sunday, the last day of competitions, when star wrestler Sushil Kumar, who won a bronze in Beijing, takes part in the men's 66 kg category.

Naga Chaitanya new movie goes on floors

A new Telugu movie, in which Naga Chaitanya and Sunil are playing as brothers, went on floors on Tuesday in Hyderabad. Hansika and Andrea Jeremiah are playing the female lead roles in the movie.

The movie is official remake of director Lingusamy’s Vettai. The role which Arya played in the Vettai movie expected to be replaced by the Naga Chaithanya and Madavan role is likely replaced by Sunil.

 

Prabhas looks Dynamic in Rebel

Young Rebel Star Prabhas upcoming Telugu movie is ‘Rebel’. The official first look of Rebel has released yesterday. Prabhas looks very dynamic in the Rebel first look posters. Tamanna and Deeksha Seth are playing female lead roles beside Prabhas for the first time. Lawrence is directing the movie.

Nag Damarukam as Dasara special

King Akkineni Nagarjuna’s upcoming socio fantasy movie is “Damarukam”. Anushka is playing the female lead role in the movie. The movie has completed shooting part currently in post production stage.

As per the latest buzz the movie is going to release as Dasara special. An extensive special effects work making the movie delays. Nagarjuna will be seen in an action role. There is a buzz is that Prakash Raj will be seen in Lord Shiva role in this Telugu movie.
