Power Star Pawan Kalyan who will always be the front runner in donating money for a social cause has come up once again and announced money for the Hudhud cyclone relief. Earlier also he has donated several times for a social cause.

Pawan Kalyan donates 50 Lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund towards HudHud cyclone relief. Pawan Said, ” I am deeply anguished by the calamity that has swept through Vizag and North Andhra.

I will be handing 50 Lakhs to CM Relief Fund”. Pawan is going to visit Vizag very soon and appealed his fans and supporters to step out and participate in the relief operations. Pawan never tries to publicize his efforts for social causes. This is a good move from the industry people in supporting their best towards these natural disasters.

Actress Renu Desai has parted ways with her former husband Pawan Kalyan over two years ago but apparently she is still good friends with the Power Star. The actress who announced that she is launching their son Akira Nandan in her maiden Marathi directorial venture Ishq Wala Love was overwhelmed by the response she received from Pawan Kalyan fans for a special picture she shared on her Facebook page.

Renu Desai shared another family pic of her with Pawan Kalyan. "After seeing so much love of fans sharing a special pic with u all.pic by Akira.Wishing my best friend( we were, we still are & we will always be best friends) a very Happy Birthday," posted Renu Desai.

Gabbar Singh 2 team have lost the last hope on roping Deepika Padukone opposite Pawan Kalyan and have launched their hunt to find the perfect girl who fits the bill.

The script seemed ready and so does our Power Star but for lack of heroine the movie has not gone on floors yet.

Sampath Nandi has been on the manhunt mission for the last one month yet it doesn’t seem to yield fruitful results to sign lead lady as Gabbar Singh’s Bhagya Lakshmi.


Deepika Padukone and Sonakshi Sinha have been the two girls they seriously considered and Pawan felt that Deepika could be a better bet considering the glam factor she could be adding to the project, making, pre-release and the movie. The makers got a shock when the two girls demanded whopping high Rs 2 crores. Going by Pawan’s recommendation when they approached Deepika, more shocks came. Her 2 crores remuneration came with many conditions applied including shoot timings. Although Sonakshi didn’t lay conditions, the makers are dillydallying if they can settle with someone from South itself.

Just a few minutes back in our wishes for Pawan Kalyan's birthday, we said he is growing bigger than any and all the individual brands in Telugu land. Be it Telangana, Andhra or Rayala Seema, the star's fanfare has raised to a level which no single political leader or film star is able to garner in recent times. Many articles of late have openly termed him as the 'New Power Center' of united or bifurcated AP.

RGV, who tweeted a few days ago saying he wants to see the 'Power Star' making a foray into politics and he will stand in line to vote for the actor. He even went on to say that he'd seen a charisma and intensity in PK's eyes that he'd seen in Bal Thakerey's eyes and he'd be the most followed actor turned politicos from MGR to Chiru if he takes up politics.

Today, on the occasion of the star's birth day, the maverick director tweeted again saying 'I don't care when Pawan Kalyan is born. I will wish him only when he starts his political party. Coz that will be his true birthday...' But sure, PK will be smart enough to avoid foraying into politics. If he does, it will be a new dawn indeed...

Pawan Kalyan who is called as Power Star of Telugu Cinema was born on 2nd September 1971 in Bapatla completes 42 years today.

Pawan Kalyan is considered as the most stylish actor with a natural like histrionics, body movement and excellent timing in acting in the films. He started his film career with “Toli Prema” in 1998 which won National Award for the best feature film of that year. 

Pawan Kalyan although entered the film industry as Chiranjeevi’s younger brother and completed 20 films so far, he made his own identity with “Badri” and “Kushi” and made a permanent place in the hearts of many cine lovers with “Jalsa”.

Pawan Kalyan to produce Gabbar Singh 2

Pawan Kalyan has decided to turn producer.! The superstar will be producing the sequel to his blockbuster — Gabbar Singh (the official Telugu remake of the Salman-starrer Dabangg) — under his own banner, which he plans to launch with this film. Sources close to the actor say thatPawan Kalyan has decided to rejig the entire cast and crew for the film and plans to rope in a fresh team on board for the sequel. Harish Shankar, the director who wielded the megaphone for Gabbar Singh, might not direct the sequel due to his current commitments. Buzz also has it thatGabbar Singh 2 will not be a remake of Dabangg 2, but an original creation from Pawan Kalyan's production house.

A source close to the production unit, tells us, "Pawan Kalyan always wanted to play a character called Gabbar Singh. He even sported a similar Khaki-clad, irreverent cop avatar in the introductory scene of Gudumbar Shankar (2004). And when Salman's Dabangg released, Pawan decided to blend his idea of Gabbar Singh with Dabangg style. He created his own mannerisms and style for the official remake, which went on to become a box office hit. And now, he wants to recreate that magic in Gabbar Singh 2," says the source, adding that Pawan Kalyan will take the final call about the director, heroine and other cast and crew after finalising the script, which is being worked upon now.

Interestingly, Pawan Kalyan wanted to produce the first Gabbar Singh film too and had in fact, released the film's first look poster under his banner's name. However, things took a different turn and Bandla Ganesh, who made Teenmaar with Pawan, ended up producing the film.
