Ace Indian shuttler Saina Nehwal has made the country proud and gave us a reason to rejoice on Sunday by winning the $750,000 Star Australian Super Series after beating Spain's Carolina Marin in the summit clash on Sunday. A PTI report says that Saina, who had won the India Open Grand Prix Gold earlier this year, prevailed 21-18, 21-11 in a 43-minute contest which left her richer by $56,000. While Saina must be soaking in her victory, social media has got flooded with congratulatory messages from her fans across the globe.

Bolly siren Kashmera Shah in Tollywood item number?

Bollywood siren Kashmera Shah is all set to scorch big screens in Bengal with an item girl act.

The actress will be seen grooving to an item number for Sanat Dutta's upcoming film Katha Kichhu Kichhu.

The film, which is being made in Bengali andOdia, stars a galaxy of stars from Tollywood,Ollywood and Bollywood. While the Odiaindustry's newest star, Anshuman, will portray the male lead, the female lead is yet to be finalized. "Miss Universe India 2012,UrvashiRautela, who we have seen in Singh Saab the Great, is in talks with us for the female lead. I am, however, yet to receive confirmation from her side. ButKashmera has finalized her dates, and we will start shooting for her sequence from July 3," the director said. Kashmera, too, confirmed the news through a crisp text message: "Yes, that's right."

The film, which also stars Tollywood and Ollywood veterans like MihirDas, Ashrumochon and RajatavaDatta, will be shot in parts of Odisha along with Kolkata, Purulia and Phuket, added the director.

The item song featuring Kashmera has been has been sung byAkritiKakkar and Shaan and has both Hindi and Bengali lyrics. Singers of repute like Kumar Sanu, June Banerjee and AmanTrikha of Hookah bar fame are also lending their voices to other tracks of the film.

After so many speculations, finally it looks like the release date of superstar Mahesh Babu ’s “Aagadu” is confirmed now.

The entire team is currently filming some key action scenes in Bellary. According to the latest update, the makers have decided to release the film on 19th September.

Initially, the team had planned to release the film on September 26, but have preponed its release to on Sep 19. The Bellary schedule will go on till the 2nd of July, and the unit will return back to Hyderabad, and shoot for Shruthi Haasan’s special song.

Aagadu is directed by Sreenu Vytla and Tamanna is paired opposite Mahesh Babu in this action entertainer.

Hyderabad: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has expressed her wish of working with Telugu star Akkineni Nagarjuna.

Vidya Balan, who was in Hyderabad recently to promote her upcoming movie 'Bobby Jasoos', has already been a part of Nagarjuna's popular TV show 'Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu'.

'I've taken part in Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu show with Nagarjuna, so the next step will be to act in his movie,' the actress was quoted as saying.

Nagarjuna himself seems impressed by the versatile actress. He even posted a video of them together on Twitter and said he loved her debut film 'Parineeta'.

Pawan Kalyan is on a devotional trip

Sources say that Pawan Kalyan has been mustering quite a lot of Guyana these days since he decided to act in the Telugu remake of the Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar starrer  OMG - Oh My God.

The actor’s friends say he has been reading several books to get his dialogues right.

He will be starring in the film alongside Venkatesh and both of them have reportedly given their dates for the film’s shoot. Titled Gopala Gopala, the movie directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasany will have Pawan Kalyan play the role of Akshay Kumar in the film.
