Memu Saitam' cricket teams : Kajal, Anushka, Rakul preet singh

Telugu Film Industry has come together to raise funds for the Hudhud cyclone relief and as part of the 'Memu Saitam' telethon event, which will be held on November 30th, Telugu film celebs will play charity cricket matches at Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy Stadium in Hyderabad.

Four teams will participate in this tournament. Victory Venkatesh, Nagarjuna, NTR and Ram Charan will lead the teams.

A draw was held to select players for the teams and the details of the players are here.

Drushyam' instantly connects to a common man : Venkatesh

Many remakes and sequels of successful films come every year and even this year, we have seen some remakes in Tollywood.

One of the most promising remakes coming this year is 'Drushyam', which stars Venkatesh and Meena. This film is a remake of Mohan Lal's Malayalam path-breaking entertainer, 'Drishyam'. Even the Kannada remake of the film, released recently, has garnered a huge response and the Telugu makers are very confident of the success of the film in Telugu.

Sripriya is the director of this film. Suresh Babu, one of the producers of the film, said " The movie is a very good family thriller, with a strong family protectionist message played by Venkatesh as a simple next door cable operator superbly supported by Meena, who plays his wife".

Victory Venkatesh said that the movie will get connected to a family man instantly. This film is set for a release on July 11th.

Pawan Kalyan is on a devotional trip

Sources say that Pawan Kalyan has been mustering quite a lot of Guyana these days since he decided to act in the Telugu remake of the Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar starrer  OMG - Oh My God.

The actor’s friends say he has been reading several books to get his dialogues right.

He will be starring in the film alongside Venkatesh and both of them have reportedly given their dates for the film’s shoot. Titled Gopala Gopala, the movie directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasany will have Pawan Kalyan play the role of Akshay Kumar in the film.

Charan, Kajal plan for Hat-trick?

The hit pair Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Pretty actress Kajal Agarwal who have paired up for Magadheera, Naayak, are set to romance yet again for the third time on-screens and this time it is for a multistarrer movie.


Both the films of Ram Charan and Kajal were money-spinners at the Box-Office. The duo are planning for a hattrick with the film.Krishnavamsi will wield the megaphone for the family drama entertainer. Along with Ram Charan, the movie features Victory Venkatesh as the lead.

Ram Charan’s forthcoming bilingual film Zanjeer/Thoofan audio was launched which was held on yesterday, by Victory Venkatesh. Creative genius Krishna Vamsi is going to wield the megaphone for the film and Bandla Ganesh will produce this big-budget film under Parameswara Arts production banner. Super Star Krishna is expected to play a prominent role. An official announcement on the film is awaited.

Offering a pleasant surprise to everyone, Venkatesh has stepped into the venue as the guest of honor to the show.

Venkatesh is once again teaming with Ram for another multi starrer, a remake of Bol Bachchan. Then we got Akkineni's family film Manam. Now another multi starrer is in the offing. According to sources Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be teaming with Victory Venkatesh and Super Star Krishna in the direction of Krishna Vamsi.

After considering many titles for venkatesh-ram starrer like Golmaal. Garam Masala, Sarve Jano Sukhinio Bavanthu, Ram Balaram  it has now titled as 'Masala'. With this title the first look posters of the film are being readied. The film is a remake of Bollywood film Bol Bachchan, which starred Ajay Devgan and Abhishek Bachchan. Anjali and shazan padamsee are pairing opposite to venkatesh and ram. Vijaya Bhaskar is directing the film, while Sravanthi Ravi Kishore and D Suresh Babu is producing it.
