Ram Charan's most awaited film
'Thoofan', the Telugu version of the remake of 1970's blockbuster 'Zanjeer' has been awarded 'A' certificate and will be released across the world on the 6th September as announced. The film unit said in a press release that the censor members were moved by the efforts of the makers and Charan's performance. The Hindi version 'Zanjeer' is also set to hit the screens the same day.
The film has veteran star Sanjay Dutt playing Sher Khan, played by Srihari in Telugu, his second rendezvous with Ram Charan as 'Sher Khan' after Magadheera. Priyanka Chopra is playing the 'Damsel In Distress' Mala. While Prakash Raj is playing mafia don Teja, Tanikella Bharani is playing a key role too. The film is being jointly produced by Reliance Entertainments, Prakash Mehra Productions and Flying Turtle Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia.
