The biggest doubt among everyone is nothing but who would be the chief guest for the audio launch of 'Toofan' as it is ample clear that Chiranjeevi willn't be gracing the function because of ongoing agitations in the state and Pawan Kalyan isn't keen on attending such film related events. Offering a pleasant surprise to everyone, Venkatesh has stepped into the venue as the guest of honor to the show.

Chiru has made a right move by picking up Venky as a chief guest as he is the one who is always seen with positive energy and his presence will surely have a good impact. Eventually, this move will highlight the bond between Mega and Daggubati families and strength the reports of Venky-Charan multi-starrer.

By the time Venkatesh got into the auditorium, Allu Aravind began his speech and went on to say 'Toofan' has got a speciality. "The speciality of 'Toofan' is that it was made simultaneously in both Hindi and Telugu. It is the first of its kind movie in India to collect over Rs 100 crore at Box Office. I have seen Director Apoorva Lakhia's work and he has put in a lot of effort for this film. I can't speak about Charan? (family member). The actors met Yashpal Arya, the minister for disaster management, Revenue and Cooperatives of Uttarakhand at the latter's office in Dehradun, Uttarakhand and handed over the cheque for Rs. 15 Lacs and additionally, a cheque for Rs. 10 Lacs donated by Ram Charan Tej, one for Rs. 10 Lacs by Allu Arjun himself and another for Rs. 6 Lacs donated by the Film Nagar Cultural Center.

'Chashme Baddoor' beauty Taapsee is feeling unsettled

Post her debut movie 'Chashme Baddoor', the gorgeous Taapsee Pannu has become the next-in thing in B-town. The cute looking actress, who is a big name in south, is said to be now having several Bollywood projects in her kitty; following which the Delhi girl keeps logging air miles in and out of the capital for her shoots.

Latest heard that Taapsee is moving lock, stock and barrel to Mumbai from Hyderabad. It is said that she has been house hunting and is looking at flats between Bandra and Andheri. After acting in David Dhawan's comic caper, she is keen on a Bollywood career. And staying in Mumbai will certainly help.

"I've been travelling non-stop. I had no time to look around and find a place. But now I'm finalising a place in between Bandra and Andheri. Hopefully, by Diwali I'll lock in to the place. Right now I feel a little unsettled. In Mumbai, you desperately need your own home," remarked Taapsee.

When a director announces his next team even before his earlier movie hasn't finished its first week run, it could be seen in two ways. One, the earlier movie has bombed at the box office and the makers have decided its fate and are moving on. Two, the result is ambiguous and in an attempt to hold it for a while, the makers are resorting to such tactics.

The case in the point is: Teja has announced his next movie with the same team that produced '1000 Abaddhalu' viz., Sri Productions Suneetha Prabhakar Paladugu. The producer revealed the details of the next movie in a non-committal manner, said 'Teja deals love stories in a unique style of his own. So, we are planning to start a quickie in his direction that will cast old and new actors. Plan to start it in September and finish it within 30 days of shoot. Will disclose the details soon'

'Manushulato Jagratta' Talkie Finished

'Manushulato Jagratta', presented by Vasundhara and produced on Vikramarka Productions banner, jointly by Chiranjeevulu Naidu and Rotta Appa Rao in the direction of Govind Varaha has finished shooting the talkie portion and is heading to the editing table. Akshay Tej and Vidarsha are playing the lead pair in which Rajendra Prasad and Krishna Bhagavan will be seen as Lord Yama and his notorious assistant Chitra Gupta.

Producers said 'A great comedy entertainer with a social message, being filmed well by the director. Happy Birthday Megastar Chiranjeevi

Today is the birthday of one of the biggest and most popular heroes of Telugu Cinema.Megastar Chiranjeevi turns 58 today. The actor turned politician enthralled Telugu people in a career spanning three decades and has some of the biggest grossing Telugu movies to his credit. Born in a small middle class family in 1955, Chiranjeevi grew from a character artiste to one of the biggest icons of Telugu Cinema. His is a classic rags to riches story. He took the silver screen by storm in the 80′s with his radical dance and fight moves and the audience embraced him wholeheartedly.

In 2006, he was conferred the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the Andhra University in the same year. Chiranjeevi won the Nandi award five times and the actor starred in 149 films so far.

Chiranjeevi quit his acting career to take up politics. After an unsuccessful stint with the Praja Rajyam Party, he has joined forces with the Congress Party. Chiranjeevi is currently serving as a Union Minister of State for Tourism. Fans and movie lovers are eagerly awaiting his return to the silver screen for that 150th film, but there has been no word on that so far from the mega camp.
