Just a few minutes back in our wishes for Pawan Kalyan's birthday, we said he is growing bigger than any and all the individual brands in Telugu land. Be it Telangana, Andhra or Rayala Seema, the star's fanfare has raised to a level which no single political leader or film star is able to garner in recent times. Many articles of late have openly termed him as the 'New Power Center' of united or bifurcated AP.

RGV, who tweeted a few days ago saying he wants to see the 'Power Star' making a foray into politics and he will stand in line to vote for the actor. He even went on to say that he'd seen a charisma and intensity in PK's eyes that he'd seen in Bal Thakerey's eyes and he'd be the most followed actor turned politicos from MGR to Chiru if he takes up politics.

Today, on the occasion of the star's birth day, the maverick director tweeted again saying 'I don't care when Pawan Kalyan is born. I will wish him only when he starts his political party. Coz that will be his true birthday...' But sure, PK will be smart enough to avoid foraying into politics. If he does, it will be a new dawn indeed...

'Thoofan' Gets A Certified

Ram Charan's most awaited film 

'Thoofan', the Telugu version of the remake of 1970's blockbuster 'Zanjeer' has been awarded 'A' certificate and will be released across the world on the 6th September as announced. The film unit said in a press release that the censor members were moved by the efforts of the makers and Charan's performance. The Hindi version 'Zanjeer' is also set to hit the screens the same day.

The film has veteran star Sanjay Dutt playing Sher Khan, played by Srihari in Telugu, his second rendezvous with Ram Charan as 'Sher Khan' after Magadheera. Priyanka Chopra is playing the 'Damsel In Distress' Mala. While Prakash Raj is playing mafia don Teja, Tanikella Bharani is playing a key role too. The film is being jointly produced by Reliance Entertainments, Prakash Mehra Productions and Flying Turtle Films and directed by Apoorva Lakhia.

The latest young and handsome actor of B-town Sushant Singh Rajput has raced ahead and broken his senior colleague and serial kisser Emraan Hashmi's record. For, Sushant will be seen lip locking 27 times in his forthcoming YRF's film 'Shuddh Desi Romance' (SDR). While, Emraan had a maximum of 17 kisses in one film.

Sushant, who debuted on the silver screen with 'Kai Po Che', had no lady love in the film. This time, in his upcoming film SDR, the actor will be seen romancing two actresses.

Since, the film revolves around casual relationships in small towns and the behaviour of the youth, the script demanded the actor to lock lips with his love interest. And following which, the actor will be seen kissing both the actresses; Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor.

Power Star's 42nd Birthday

Pawan Kalyan who is called as Power Star of Telugu Cinema was born on 2nd September 1971 in Bapatla completes 42 years today.

Pawan Kalyan is considered as the most stylish actor with a natural like histrionics, body movement and excellent timing in acting in the films. He started his film career with “Toli Prema” in 1998 which won National Award for the best feature film of that year. 

Pawan Kalyan although entered the film industry as Chiranjeevi’s younger brother and completed 20 films so far, he made his own identity with “Badri” and “Kushi” and made a permanent place in the hearts of many cine lovers with “Jalsa”.

Pawan Kalyan is famous for his acting with ease which made “Gabbar Singh” a great success. His recent film “Attharintiki Daaredhi” is complete in all respects and waiting for the release which was held up due to the agitations for Samaikyandhra.

Gabbar Singh sequel Gabbar Singh-2 is also completed and in post production and queuing up for the release. All the fans of Pawan Kalyan are waiting for those two movies to release.

'Kochadaiyan' Teaser To Be Released Sep 9th

'Kochadaiyan', the Rajinikanth starrer Live action animation extravaganza directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, daughter of the Superstar has many firsts to its credit. Deepika Padukone, the Bollywood starlet will debut in Tamil, the film will be the first to be released in languages like English, Spanish, Italian etc., apart from Telugu (Titled 'Vikrama Simha')and other Indian languages Malayalam and Hindi. the first Indian film to be shot in the Motion Capture photography (Like Avatar) etc.

The director Soundarya tweeted saying the film's teaser will be released on the 9th September. It's sure going to take the web by storm taking the superstar's following coupled with the expectations the film has created by itself over the past couple of years. The film is being jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment. VFX work is done by Hollywood studios.

The film has a dream ensemble of cast and crew. Names like Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Shobhana, Rukmini Vijay Kumar, Nassar etc in the casting and AR Rahman, Rajiv Menon, Anthony etc in the crew. The story is given by ace director KS Ravi Kumar.

Priyanka Chopra skips Zanjeer event in Hyderabad for Ram Leela

While there have been reports of Priyanka Chopra being miffed with her Zanjeer co-star Ramcharan Teja for apparently showing up late for their promotional event, the truth is, Ms Chopra too is very busy, too busy to even attend the massive music release function of Thoofan, the Telugu version of Zanjeer on Wednesday in Hyderabad.

A source from Hyderabad says, "We were very surprised when PC didn't show up in Hyderabad. It was very big day for the Telugu Zanjeer and also for Ramcharan Teja's wife Upasana. Her family's Apollo chain of hospitals turned 25 years old on Wednesday. First there was a grand event at the Novotel hotel for the Apollo parivaar where Upasana's grandfather who founded the Apollo chain was present. This was followed by the Thoofan music release at which all of Ramcharan's directors so far (he has done only 4 Telugu films) came on stage to wish him all the best."

Priyanka, we hear from Hyderabad, was to appear at both the events in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Instead she was seen in Mumbai on Wednesday evening walking the ramp for Neeta Ambani.

When asked about conspicuous absence in Hyderabad, Zanjeer director Apoorva Lakhia defended his heroine stoutly. "PC has been co-operation personified. She has been promoting Zanjeer and Thoofan, and shooting for her song in Ram Leela. The reason she didn't show up in Hyderabad was because she attended a fashion event in Mumbai for our Zanjeer producers (Reliance). And she sent a video message for our music function in Hyderabad which was beamed on every channel on Andhra Pradesh."

Regarding reports that Ramcharan pissed off  Priyanka by showing up late for Zanjeer events, a source from the Zanjeer team informs, "Yes. Ramcharan did show up more than an hour late for an event last week at the Mithibhai College in Mumbai. But that was because his driver got into a verbal scuffle. Ramcharan apologized to Priyanka and she was just fine with it. Now someone wants to portray Ramcharan as non-punctual and indisciplined on the eve of his Hindi release then what can we do? The truth is he is as driven, committed and punctual as PC."

Sources reveal that the two giants have agreed upon a script and might stage an announcement when it's right time.

Kamal Hassan is right now busy with the post production of 'Vishwaroopam II' the second part of the international spy thriller 'Vishwaroopam' that created waves with its controversial content on one side and the brilliant making on the other. It will be interesting to see what story Shankar would have narrated to the exceptionally talented actor who is a skillful writer and director himself.
